Our service is completely bespoke, ensuring the individual needs of the Young person are at the forefront of everything we do.
We are able to transport any Individual from anywhere in the UK to a Location of your choice in the UK.
Every time we transport an individual, we treat them with the utmost dignity and respect regardless of their situation. The Vehicles we use are comfortable, fit for purpose and do not bear any markings that would indicate the vehicle is being used for Secure Transportation, we find this helps to put the Young person at ease and dispel any anxieties they may have.
All our vehicles are covert and do not have any markings or logo’s. We operate a ‘non-caged’ service as we view this as placing the Young person at unnecessary risk. Our team are trained to engage the Young people and make the whole process as relaxing and professional as possible.
Following a strict and Challenging Recruitment Process, our Team Members are all Safer Recruited and DBS checked prior to employment.
This ensures that every Team Member we recruit are over and above the Minimum Standards required for Employment in the Security and Care Sectors.
All our staff working within the secure transportation service have undertaken training for ‘Safe Handling’ which provides training in Positive Handling and Physical Intervention. We have also received training in the Safe and Effective use of Soft and Mechanical Handcuffs (Handcuffing procedures & the application of the Soft Restraint Cuff®). Although our ethos is to use restraints as a last resort, we have the training to be able to deal with unforeseen crisis situations and heightened behaviours in a safe and professional manner.

Connect Care offer emergency placements providing the local authority and social workers with what we term “breathing space in a safe place”. Young people will only be with Connect Care for a relatively short period of time, but we still aim to achieve positive outcomes whilst keep them safe and secure within a nurturing environment.
